Posted May 24, 20222 yr Today, Amazon EC2 announced the Stop Protection feature that enables customers to protect their instances from accidental stop actions. Previously, customers could protect their instances from unintentional terminate actions by enabling Termination Protection. With Stop Protection, customers with stateful workloads can safeguard data in instance store volume(s) from unintentional stop and terminate actions. View the full article
