You can now use AWS Systems Manager to automate the tasks required to install the latest version of the Amazon EFS client (amazon-efs-utils) package on your Amazon EC2 instances maintaining compliance and security by ensuring that the Amazon EFS client is kept up to date. Additionally, you can orchestrate file system mounts to multiple instances using a single command and improve visibility by monitoring the file system mount status using CloudWatch Logs.
