Amazon Kinesis Data Streams is a serverless real-time data streaming service that can continuously capture gigabytes of data per second from hundreds of thousands of sources. You don't need to manage servers to use it. This update allows Kinesis Data Streams in one account to be accessed by an AWS Lambda function in a different account, specifically in the AWS GovCloud (US) regions. GovCloud is for government agencies with specific compliance requirements. Another serverless service that lets you run code without managing servers.
