I am thrilled to announce that we have now published, for the first time, a Consensus Assessment Initiative Questionnaire (CAIQ) specific to Azure DevOps. The Consensus Assessment Initiative Questionnaire (CAIQ) is a tool developed by the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA). It serves as a standard set of questions aimed at helping potential cloud customers evaluate the security capabilities of cloud service providers. Essentially, it’s a comprehensive checklist that covers a wide range of security topics relevant to cloud computing. The CAIQ is designed to streamline the due diligence process for organizations considering cloud services. It does this by providing a common framework of questions, the CAIQ helps reduce the time and effort required for both customers and providers in assessing the security and compliance aspects of cloud services. This standardized questionnaire addresses various areas such as data governance, data center security, identity and access management, and incident response, among others.

With the CAIQ now available, existing and potential customers with compliance questions can utilize this resource to answer those questions conveniently and timely. Azure DevOps’s CAIQ is published on Microsoft’s Service Trust Portal under the Privacy & Data Protection section. I hope the CAIQ can help you in your cloud adoption journey. Azure DevOps has been and remains committed to providing transparency and excellence in our security and compliance postures.
