The success of this architectural style has inspired a similar approach in the world of frontend development: micro frontends. What Are Micro Frontends? Micro frontends extend the principles of microservices to the frontend. The idea is to decompose a web application’s UI into smaller, semi-independent "micro" applications that work loosely together.
