Karpenter is an open-source cluster autoscaler that provisions right-sized nodes in response to unschedulable pods based on aggregated CPU, memory, volume requests, and other Kubernetes scheduling constraints (e.g., affinities and pod topology spread constraints), which simplifies infrastructure management.
