Amazon Web Services Posted January 31, 2023 Share Posted January 31, 2023 Amazon OpenSearch Service adds a new connection mode for cross-cluster connection, simplifying the setup required to remote reindex between a local domain and remote VPC domains. Remote reindex enables you to migrate data from a source domain to a target domain. Remote reindex is also useful when you have to upgrade your clusters across multiple major versions.
