Amazon Web Services Posted December 22, 2022 Share Posted December 22, 2022 AWS ParallelCluster 3.4 is now generally available and introduces the ability to create HPC clusters that can access and aggregate compute capacity across multiple AWS Availability Zones (AZ) in a Region. Other important features in this release include: Amazon VPC configuration for AWS Lambda functions used by ParallelCluster for managing your clusters. Custom AWS IAM prefixes for ParallelCluster IAM roles and policies to enable permission boundaries. Secure file-system mounting for Amazon EFS to enable in-transit encryption and IAM authorizations.
