Amazon Web Services Posted November 11, 2022 Share Posted November 11, 2022 AWS Backup now supports restoring VMware backups to Amazon EC2. This allows you to restore your VMware backups directly in EC2, as EC2 native instances. AWS Backup can restore to on-premises VMware, VMware CloudTM on AWS Outposts, VMware CloudTM on AWS, and Amazon Elastic Block Store (EBS).
