Kevin has 30yrs experience working in the technology industry with over two decades of that time focused on managing and delivering database projects for Oracle across cloud, on-premise, and hybrid platforms. He is currently holding the position of Director Sales Engineer EMEA at EDB where he and his team support EDB customers and partners with their database transformations – focusing on new development and deployment for automating various platforms.

He will be presenting: “Why Run Postgres in Kubernetes?” by exploring the challenges and the opportunities that running Postgres inside Kubernetes presents and what to expect from a good Postgres operator, including self-healing, high availability, scalability, backup and recovery, performance, and security before going beyond technical aspects to spark conversations about the holistic improvements that running a Cloud-Native database brings to your organization.

Head of Projects and Change @ Charities Aid Foundation

Elizabeth thrives on helping people do things that they thought were impossible and watching them reach their potential. She supported people new to management to grow and develop into phenomenal leaders and helped entrepreneurs and senior executives focus on the important things to grow their businesses. She is committed to shifting business culture: one person and one business at a time as the one size fits all approach to leadership development no longer works.

She will be presenting: “Let me tell you about the birds and the bees” in which she is hoping to convince you that building social connectedness is one of the most important things for you to be focused on if you want to increase the performance of your teams.

Senior Site Reliability Engineer @ Divido

Aliaksandr is a Cloud and DevOps practice-oriented Engineer with over 7 years of Tech experience across multiple domains. His working experience covers both top enterprise companies and start-ups. Attention to detail and customer — focus applies.

He will be presenting: “Infrastructure Pipelines: The Bad, the Ugly, and the Good” which will show how usually adding CI and CD to the infrastructure starts, goes and where it ends up, and how to avoid common mistakes and obstacles.

Head of QA @ MotorK

Seema is Head of QA at MotorK where she is responsible for setting up the team and QA strategy across the organization. She has been a software test professional for more than 17 years with a wealth of experience in testing, and Agile transformation projects. Her focus is on leadership, establishing sustainable processes, building high-performance teams, and coaching and mentoring teams and individuals.

She will be presenting: “DevOps and APIs: Better Together” which will talk about the implications of implementing API gateways and how they fit in the scheme of DevOps thereby giving us better, faster, secure, and robust applications.

Director – Technology Strategy & Architecture

PWC

Chris is a cloud specialist and open source advocate that has been involved in software engineering for over 25 years and is still passionate about software engineering today runs the Jemo project for the eclipse foundation. At PwC, Chris helps customers to adopt public cloud technology, build cloud-native applications using Kubernetes and design the distributed software systems that drive hyperscale computing.

He will be presenting: “The convergence between Infrastructure and Software and how modern cloud-native platforms enable the transition” which will teach you how this new paradigm shift comes together to transform the way software is designed, build and run to take advantage of the hyperscale infrastructure that supports it and learn how to apply modern DevOps and SRE techniques to your organisation to drive cultural change and operational efficiency.

She will be presenting: “Making DevSecOps relevant to Everyone” which will highlight how to ensure that security is everyone’s responsibility by showing engineers and managers alike that they are as relevant to security as any DevSecOps team.
