DevOps Online
The Hacktivity Cyber Labs platform, an ethical hacking, and cyber security education platform, developed by the Leeds Beckett University is set to receive £32,000 in funding from the Innovate UK Cyber Academic Startup Accelerator Programme (CyberASAP). Indeed, the initiative, designed by Z Cliff Schreuders, is a virtual lab environment used by computing students to log into virtual machines and get randomized automated security and ethical hacking challenges. This aims to provide them with a fun and engaging learning environment. The programme features many activities and feedback around cybersecurity as well as an extensive content library with the Cyber Security Body of Knowledge. The investment will help develop a value proposition, conduct market research, and investigate how to get the platform ready for public sale.
