With this release, Porting Assistant will translate VB.NET class libraries, web APIs, and console applications to .NET Core 3.1, .NET 5, or .NET 6 to simplify the modernization of legacy .NET Framework applications written in VB.NET . Developers can use the Porting Assistant for .NET standalone tool or Porting Assistant for .NET Visual Studio IDE extension to modernize their legacy VB.NET applications.
