With this feature, you can communicate with X-Ray service from your Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) without exposing that traffic to the public internet. VPC endpoints are powered by AWS PrivateLink, an AWS technology that enables private communication between your VPC and AWS services, like X-Ray, on the private AWS network.
