AWS Posted November 25, 2020 Share Posted November 25, 2020 Amazon Transcribe Medical is a HIPAA-eligible automatic speech recognition (ASR) service that makes it easy for developers to add speech-to-text capabilities to their healthcare and life science applications. Up until now, Amazon Transcribe Medical can transcribe speech for medical specialties under the broader Primary Care umbrella such as internal medicine, family medicine, obstetrics-gynecology (OB-GYN), and pediatrics. Starting today, the service expands streaming transcription support for five new medical specialties covering cardiology, oncology, neurology, radiology, and urology.
