AWS Posted October 5, 2022 Share Posted October 5, 2022 As of November 23, 2021, Amazon Simple Queue Service (SQS) supported Server-Side Encryption with Amazon SQS-managed encryption keys (SSE-SQS) to protect sensitive data. Today, Amazon SQS announces SSE-SQS encryption by default for newly created queues.
