AWS Posted August 8, 2022 Share Posted August 8, 2022 Amazon Relational Database Service (Amazon RDS) Custom for Oracle now supports the promotion of a managed replica that was created using the replica function. When you promote a managed replica, it is converted from a physical standby database and activated as a standalone read/write primary database instance.
