AWS Posted November 9, 2020 Share Posted November 9, 2020 Starting today, you can use Amazon Elastic File System (Amazon EFS) Quick Create from the Amazon EC2 Launch Instance Wizard to create new file systems using the recommended settings without having to leave the Amazon EC2 console. You can then immediately add your newly created file system to the EC2 instance you are launching and it will be automatically mounted on your instance after it has launched.
