Amazon Connect now enables contact center managers to view historical contact volumes and average handling time (AHT) in the forecasting UI. This new feature is part of Amazon Connect forecasting, capacity planning, and scheduling (preview) that helps contact center managers predict contact volumes and AHT, determine optimal staffing levels, and plan agent schedules to ensure they have the right agents at the right time. AWS Budgets has enhanced the console experience by adding a split-view panel that allows you to view budget details without leaving the budgets overview page. AWS Budgets helps you control AWS cost and usage by allowing you to set custom budgets that alert you when your cloud spend exceeds (or is forecasted to exceed) your budgeted amount. You can also use AWS Budgets to set Savings Plans and Reservation alerts and receive notifications when your utilization or coverage targets drop below your desired thresholds. Every Amplify app backend is now automatically set up with the admin UI which can be used to model data, add authentication and authorization, and manage app content, users, and groups. Team members without AWS access can be invited to join the admin UI via email, giving both developers and non-developers easier access to configure and manage the app backend and app data.
