With this first Wavelength Zone in Sub-Saharan Africa, Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), enterprises, and developers can now use AWS infrastructure and services to support applications with data residency, low latency, and resiliency requirements. AWS Wavelength, in partnership with Sonatel, delivers on-demand AWS compute and storage services to customers in West Africa. AWS Wavelength enables customers to build and deploy applications that meet their data residency, low-latency, and resiliency requirements. AWS Wavelength offers the operational consistency, industry leading cloud security practices, and familiar tools for automation that are similar to an AWS Region.
